Comment:Heterocapsa triquetra is a bloom-forming dinoflagellate often found in estuaries and near shore regions. This organism is not known to be toxic to humans, however blooms of Heterocapsa triquetra may cause a decrease in oxygen in the water which may cause the death of fish and other aquatic organisms.
