Comment: | Hybrid Aspens between P. tremula and P. tremuloides are fast growing trees and have long vegetative period. They also develop fibers of narrow diameter and thin walls and so are preferred for making high density paper with smooth surface. Their white colored wood also helps in reducing the cost of paper production and is environmentally friendly. |
